Several scriptures talk about workers in the church, but 1 Corinthians
15:58
is one of the key verses in the bible that encourages believers to
remain faithful and committed to the work of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding
in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain
in the Lord.”

This scripture reminds us that whatever we do in the house of God is not
a waste. Whether you are preaching, singing, ushering, cleaning the church, or
serving behind the scenes, your labour matters to God.

Here are some other scriptures that speak about church workers and
serving in ministry:

  • Colossians 3:23-24 … Whatever you do, do it
    heartily, as unto the Lord.
  • Romans 12:11 … Be fervent in spirit,
    serving the Lord.
  • 1 Peter 4:10 … Use the gift you have
    received to serve others.
  • 2 Timothy 2:15 … Study to show yourself approved
    unto God.
  • 1 Corinthians 3:9 … For we are labourers
    together with God.
  • Galatians 6:9 … Do not grow weary in doing
    good.

So, if you’re encouraging church workers, 1 Corinthians 15:58 is a good
scripture to build on because it reminds them that God sees their labour,
even when people don’t.
